The plenary session held this morning in the Provincial Council began with a minute of silence by the political groups, given the death of the official Fernando Viñas that occurred this week. The Popular Group disfigured the behavior of the President of the Spanish Government with the unilateral change in the Spanish position regarding the Sahara, since it puts at risk the aid that the Provincial Council has been providing, for many years, to the Sahrawi people, within the aid to the Development and Cooperation that the institution does, to various groups.
The popular spokesperson, Adrián Fernández, pointed out that this decision, contrary to the position maintained to date, we do not know the scope it may have" and could jeopardize the aid that is being provided to a people as needy as the Saharawi. In another order of things, Adrián Industry Email List Fernández has indicated that regarding the measures that the Provincial Council is going to implement for the 'prevention of damage caused to forests by fires, natural disasters and catastrophes', the position of the Popular Group is to consider it insufficient this aid, since it only reaches of the province.
The popular one pointed out that Ciudad Real has hectares of forest, which represents 43% of the province's total, so almost 8% is an insignificant percentage to carry out this work. Fernández stated that this agreement made with the Community Board, which provides money from European Funds, is a very necessary but insufficient agreement.
Finally, Adrián Fernández indicated the need for the Provincial Council to help the municipalities that have to carry out a process of stabilization of public employment, since the expenses that this implies, in advertisements and publicity, represent an enormous economic effort on the part of the corresponding local administration. In response to this request, the government team was receptive and committed to holding a working meeting with the Popular Group to analyze the situation faced by the municipalities involved in this stabilization of public employment.
